Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage

This deeply relaxing massage aids the body's immune system to function more efficiently, can help relieve pain associated with certain types of edema, reduces stress and aids sleep by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system, and can be helpful to those recovering from surgery, illness, injury, toxic exposure, or who want to improve performance. Full body MLD is comprised of a series of 90 minute sessions, and consists of clearing all the major lymph nodes in the body, as well as focusing on specific areas of concern. These may include the neck and head, upper trunk and extremities, and lower trunk and extremities. It is not necessary to do all three sections of the body, however it is necessary to follow a particular order through the body.
